Zoos

Zoos have been outlawed by the Costa Rican government. A few small ones still remain, but their leases will not be renewed once they expire. Fortunately for you the Manuel Antonio National Park and Wildelife refuge let’s you see animals in the best possible way: IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT! Monkeys, sloths, frogs, and many species of birds call Manuel Antonio National Park their home; so make sure to bring your camera so you can record your sightings. You will also have the opportunity to discover hundreds of species of tropical flora, including 200 years old hardwood trees.
