The class III and IV rapids of the Savegre River offer quite an adventure. The Naranjo River is recommended only for more experienced rafters since it is more challenging. Wild and untamed, these amazing rivers plunge through spectacularly beautiful, largely unexplored Tropical Rain Forest. You’ll pass through the jungle and see toucans, parrots, and kingfishers as you make your way down the river. Ocean kayaking is also an exciting way to experience Manuel Antonio’s marine and coastal areas, and much easier than river kayaking, making these trips open to experienced and inexperienced kayakers. You will have the opportunity to get a close look at marine life, from flying fish and sea turtles to birds and pelicans. Depending on your preference, you might also get to explore some protected offshore islands and maybe even swim and snorkel.
