Venado Caves

Formed millions of years ago but stumbled upon in the 1940s, the limestone Venado Caves are 2,700 meters of underground goodness, complete with underground rivers and waterfalls, dramatic stalactite and stalagmite formations, and, of course, an array of peculiar critters: bats, frogs, fish, insects, etc. Tours are guided and last about an hour and a half.
