What Monteverde in July looks like?
Although July is firmly in the middle of the rainy season, it is a very popular time for travelers to head to Monteverde. Even locals are likely to take their vacations during July. Americans tend to visit Costa Rica over the 4th of July weekend, so flight may be more expensive then, and Europeans typically visit in July as well. Rainfall actually dips in July, meaning that it is less wet than June. Nonetheless, bringing along a hat and some waterproof hiking shoes is definitely a smart move.
