So you’re going to Costa Rica! You’ve decided that this tropical paradise is the perfect place for your vacation, now what? A quick glance at the multitude of Costa Rican points of interest might leave you feeling a bit overwhelmed. It can be hard to believe that so many fabulous places can exist inside such a small country, but the truth is there’s more to do and see than you would think possible! To help you make the most out of your trip we’ve put together the following list of popular Costa Rican Destinations.

A useful way to go about this it to determine one or two destinations that you want to see the most: beaches, mountains, rainforests, whatever you want! Once you’ve decided you can chose some complementary locations based on how close they are and how much time you have. You can easily fit three or even four different locations to visit in the space of a week or two. Costa Rica has the advantage of having many places to visit all within short distances of each other, so there’s no reason why you can’t see most of the things you want to during your visit.
